Cooking Instructions

Smear the sliced fish with chilly powder and salt, Keep aside 30 minutes. Then fry it till it is lightly brown on both sides. Then brown the onion and add ginger, green chilly, garlic and curry leaves. Fry this for 2 minutes. Add the tomato and saute. Nellara Fish Curry Masala in water and saute with the other ingredients for 30 seconds. Add 2 cups (16oz) of water and salt to taste. Cover and boil. Add the fish and cook it on a low fire till the gravy thickens. This recipe can also be followed without frying the fish.

When cooking done in microwave, timing may be suitably adjusted.
